Xclam Jewelry

The Xclam Annual Festival was started in 2021. It is a celebration of the art, craft and memory of the Xclam Indian tribes. For over seven decades, Xclam has been a place to honor the hardworking Xclam Indians. In fact, the Xclam is one of the few tribes that still has its original lands. This annual festival celebrates the spirit of the Xclam Indian tribes and their rich culture.

Visitors to Xclam will be able to see a spectacular traditional village that consists of over 500 houses. The festival includes traditional dances and music, food and special gifts for the Xclam community. Throughout the year, there are activities and events for children and adults alike. Xclam has a permanent village; however, it is possible to travel to the various parts of Xclam Island through the annual Xclam Village Tour. While on Xclam Village Tour, visitors will experience traditional village life, learn about the history of Xclam, see different tribal arts and craft, and get an understanding of the pride and culture of the Xclam Indian tribe.

Another highlight of the Xclam Annual Festival is the chance to bring back traditional gifts from ancestors. During the Xclam Anagrams Ceremony, participants search for an anagram that represents a member of the Xclam tribe. Once the person finds an anagram that is related to their heritage, they can present it to the elders as a special gift. Special items such as engraved medicine balls, silver and copper jewelry, blankets and ceremonial drums are also sold to raise funds for the annual festival.

Each year, teams of Xclam Indians and community members organize a special contest for kids. At each location, they have an additional Xclam Anagrams Ceremony. The winning team gets the most anagrams printed with their name and the location. The Xclam team then decorates each of the teams’ team uniforms with Xclam beads. They even construct life-sized, three-dimensional, clay models of each team member and use these models as anagrams.

For an extra-special and enchanting touch to the Xclam Children’s Festival, visit the Xclam Ooty Lodge and follow the story of the legendary Geechee. The delightful little girl who resides at the Xclam Community Hall will tell stories at your preschoolers’ party about her pet turtle, Big Head, and her adventures in the forest. As she tells her story, you will spot several geckos pecking at the ground and inquiring about its’ food. The local tribes say that Big Head is in search for his food because he was struck by a big snake. In keeping with tradition, the Xclam Anagrams Ceremony will not be held until after the story is told.

After the story, the children will be introduced to the local Xclam tribe, which is made up of the Ooty branch of the Himalayan Mountains. At each location of the community hall, Xclam bracelets will be given out to each child. All of the children can participate in the bracelets, which can be worn around the neck or on a wrist.

Even though the primary goal of the Xclam bracelets is to introduce the children to the art of jewel making, it is not limited to that. They can be used for other special occasions. Xclam bracelets are perfect for a child’s special day – birthdays, anniversaries, or just for fun. You can also purchase additional Xclam jewelry to accent the bracelets.

If you are looking for a way to get involved in the local Ooty community, and wish to contribute to a worthwhile cause, the Xclam bracelets are the perfect thing for you to do. Your efforts will not only benefit the local Xclam tribe, but will also spread awareness about the benefits of environmentalism. This is an important issue in the Ooty area, which is known for its pristine rainforest and healthy environment. The bracelets will help the tribe to preserve this environment for future generations.
